Dear Blow Bar Co Family, When I started Blow Bar Co three years ago, I could not have dreamt of the amazing things we would achieve together. My vision was simply to build a place where women could hang out together and have a laugh. From that small idea I had in Bali, Blow Bar Co has become an institution for thousands of women from all over Australia (and let’s not forget the popular Daddy Daughter Date nights!). I have poured my heart and soul into building this business and am determined to continue to grow and expand. Unfortunately, it is with a heavy heart I must say that we will no longer be opening a store in Barangaroo as previously advised, due to issues with my business partner, whom I engaged solely for Barangaroo, to execute the shop fit out. The matter now rests with the lawyers, however it is my understanding that the person in question has renegotiated the terms of the lease without me and is planning to open my concept in the store I conceived, but under a different name. I want to make it clear that this business has nothing to do with Blow Bar Co. The idea for Blow Bar Co is my own and a lot of hard work and love has gone into making it a reality. I want to reassure you all that I am more committed to this business than ever. It’s been my passion to bring a unique and luxe hair experience to Sydneysiders and that burns even brighter today than when we started. Blow Bar Co is built on friendship, fun and fabulous hair and that, I promise, will not fade. Our flagship store, Blow Bar Co in Bronte, will continue to offer the same services you know and love, and there will be no changes to opening hours. Although, in case you have not yet heard; Sundays are now back and thriving! It feels particularly fitting that as I send this email we have just celebrated International Women’s Day. I have been so blessed to have you on my team throughout this journey and can’t wait to share in the successes to come, successes we will build together. On that note, we will have some exciting news to share shortly as we just signed the contract for the purchase of a new premises yesterday!
